Portal Page vs Portal Theory Page
DocH , I am confused about the arrangement of this portal. What is your strategy with this page and the associated theory page, etc.? Being a portal I would expect this page to have links to different pages about specific fringe sciences seen in FRINGE with these pages listing the instances where the technology was seen in the show. A good example of this is the Synaptic Transfer page, but I see that this link has been removed from the Portal. --LabgoTalk|Contribs 22:18, 2 January 2009 (UTC)
- - My intent was to devise a "theory page" behind the existing "Fringe Science" Portal to expand on the general topic. I may have created (probably did create) another "Portal", when my intent was to create a theory-fact-myth "article". I don't have the authority to uncreate the portal part of it, although I think the "article" part should continue. Jim or Dennis would need to rename, if this is the case. As far as the strategy, an "under construction" banner might help. I pulled all of the internal wiki-links out, just to make it easier to look at, and work on. They should go back in = my intent. My thinking is that a much more elaborate "examination" of the SCIENCE is in order... we hit the weekly topic, but we do not examine the overall impact. We never expand on the "storyline analysis" within our own template. As the show (saga) expands, our collective knowledge should grow as well - the "FRINGE SCIENCE" Theory-Fact-Myth Page should be the repository for all of that: Theory - Myth - Fact. My effort this past day is merely the first step...
