Question.png This page contains semi-canon information.
Semi-canon, or partial canon, describes information garnered from sources other than the originally aired episode... sources that are likely to contain references and material provided by both the Creative-Staff and by persons officially associated with the production, distribution, marketing, etc… While it is fully expected that the Creative-Staff had some input into the semi-canon source, FringePedia does not consider the information a part of, or an augmentation to the FRINGE storyline. Explicit communication from the Creative-Staff on any specific semi-canon issue, is the only method to elevate semi-canon to canon, or FringePedia fact.

ImagineTheImpossibilities.com is a website, originally created as a promotion site for FRINGE, including pictures and videos of the Glyphs. Following the series premiere, the site was turn into a mirror site of 1.61803398874989484820458683436563811.com, covering the Case 0091.

Original Site

In total, seven glyphs and images, each with scientific and mathematical formulas and symbols, were included on the original site. Each glyph was represented by a braille symbol, letters that when they are changed into there number correspondents (i.e E=5), form a Fibonacci sequence. Each glyph contained different material when the mouse is placed over them.

Leaf.jpg

First: Leaf---contains an image of a triangle (possibly meant as a "delta" symbol, representing change) and has different numbers and symbols behind. The symbols and lines might represent the fibonacci tree. When clicked, opens a video file of a FRINGE trailer. "Expand your Consciousness" Audio Clip. Hidden audio file played backwards. Very hard to hear.

Hand.jpg

Second: Six-Finger Hand---One finger is highlighted, and more numbers and formulas appear. The pyramid of numbers is a portion of Pascal's Triangle and the numbers down the right-hand side form a Fibonacci sequence. When clicked, it opens a YouTube video about a six fingered man. Whether the poster of this video is "In-Game" has yet to be determined.

Apple.jpg

Third: Apple---The area where the seed are normally in an apple is home to what appears to be two babies in the womb, and a Fibonacci spiral and a new formula are revealed in the background. When clicked, a new webblog is opened in a new window.

Frog.png

Fourth: Frog---In the center of the frogs back, the symbol "phi" appears, as does a formula above the frog. When clicked, it opens a video featuring J.J. Abrams talking about Fringe as scenes play from the pilot

Flower.png

Fifth: Flower---A petal on the flower highlights to reveal a it is not a petal but a bug. More formulas and symbols appear behind the flower. When clicked, it opens the FRINGE Facebook page.

Moth.png

Sixth: Moth---Four skeletal hands, two on each side, are revealed, along with yet another formula and symbol. When clicked, the FRINGE radio ads, discussed in the Viral section of Fringepedia, are played in a random order.

Braille Code

Seventh: Seahorse---A Fibonacci spiral is revealed in the middle of the seahorse, and two chemical formuals are revealed. The formulas are for the amino acids Histidine and Proline. When clicked, a sequence of Braille words are revealed, three in yellow.

These three can be clicked on to view the words TECHNOLOGY CONTROL LIFE.

The entire passage is translated as:
SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY
HAVE ADVANCED FAR BEYOND
OUR ABILITY TO CONTROL
THEM. THE ABILITY TO
GENERATE LIFE HAS TAKEN
A NEW COURSE.
