| This page contains semi-canon information.|
Semi-canon, or partial canon, describes information garnered from sources other than the originally aired episode... sources that are likely to contain references and material provided by both the Creative-Staff and by persons officially associated with the production, distribution, marketing, etc… While it is fully expected that the Creative-Staff had some input into the semi-canon source, FringePedia does not consider the information a part of, or an augmentation to the FRINGE storyline. Explicit communication from the Creative-Staff on any specific semi-canon issue, is the only method to elevate semi-canon to canon, or FringePedia fact.
Case 0091 is a noted case connected to The Pattern and revealed on the viral website 1.61803398874989484820458683436563811.com.
Revealing The Case
On July 26th, 2008 the Official Fringe website added a new glyph to the site - a sheep horn. Clicking the horn took you to an updated ImagineTheImpossibilities.com site. Behind the scenes, the ITP site pointed to a new viral site: 1.61803398874989484820458683436563811.com.
The Golden Rectangle - 1.61803398874989484820458683436563811 is an approximation of the number Phi, which is closely tied to the Fibonacci Sequence - a recurring theme in the Fringe world. Each subsequent page is a continuation of the Phi sequence (except as noted below):
The Phi site contains evidence about an incident of The Pattern. New pieces of evidence were released periodically leading up to the season premiere.

|Case 0091 Evidence 0002 was released the same day as Evidence 0001, but is dated 7/25/08 12:00 PM. The page contains a video describing a strange occurrence with sheep in Iowa. |
Case 0091: Satellite imaging picked up a rare formation of sheep on a ranch along the Iowa border three months ago. After questioning the owner of the property, we've come to the conclusion that this is no hoax. The coordination and quantity of sheep creating the pattern, leaves very little explanation. Reports indicate 10 more sheep patterns were spotted throughout the area.

Esterville, Caroll, Vinton, and Cresco are all towns in Iowa that relate closely to the same rectangle.
Interviewer: Tell me about this picture with your sheep.
Farmer: Well, I'm not sure really. Sheep were going about their business. Then I heard a sort of earthquake rumble, something underground.
Interviewer: And then what did you see?
Farmer: I'm not sure, really. Sheep didn't make a sound. So, I... I looked out the kitchen window, and saw them walking around in a circle, a perfect circle. Like something was controlling them. I never seen anything like that.
Off Camera Voice: Okay, you gotta talk louder.
Another video. The camera filming this event seems to be in an Air Conditioning or Heating duct of some sort, that accounts for the loud background noise and grate in front of the lens. This clip appears to be of someone robbing what looks to be a lab, or maybe an office. On a chalk board in the background you can see the Fibonacci spiral.
The intruder walks to a desk and opens the top drawer, receiving a gun. Next he finds what he's been looking for, a piece of paper or photo that he proceeds to put through the shredder.
If you look closely at what he shreds, it appears to be the image from Evidence 0005, which is why the section for Evidence 0005 no longer appears on the case file's site.
Translates to Parkersburg, Iowa, A town known best for its F5 Tornado on May 25, 2008, and located within the rectangular boundaries of the other four Iowa cities in 0091.
