- Introduction
A Better Human Being is the thirteenth episode of the fourth season of FRINGE. It first aired on 17 February, 2012. The science team investigates a patient at a mental hospital who appears to be connected to a series of murders. Olivia channels all of the experiences and feelings her counterpart felt and had for Peter. Nina's involvement in the grand scheme begins to reveal itself.
Synopsis
Prologue
In Olivia's Apartment, she and Peter sit down to have a heart-to-heart talk about what just happened - the big ol' romantic kiss she just buried in his face. His first concern is if she is alright, or not. Olivia feels fine - the big kiss just felt like the normal thing to do. She knows that they have only been acquainted for three months, and is aware of their less than romantic status - maybe she is suffering from some residual effects from Westfield. Peter is still concerned... Walter should have a look at her. Somewhat embarassed by her actions, Olivia insists that she does not need Walter's attention. Sorry for the kiss. Olivia is tired and needs rest. Peter offers to hang-around just in case she needs help. Olivia declines the friendly support, but Peter wants Walter to look at her in the morning if she still feels like she has been. Peter excuses hinself for the night and Olivia politely closes the door as he leaves. Seconds later, she turns and visualizes the romantic glimmer that Peter's Olivia experienced when they first became romantic.
At the Deerfield Mental Hospital, Sean Keenan wanders around a darkened room completely focused on the many voices that are rattling around his disoriented mind.
